One of the core objectives of CAGS is to develop the disciplinary body of knowledge around disabilities and accessibility from the perspective of the Global South. An Introduction to Accessibility in the Global South

The introductory course on Accessibility is designed to bring in a Global South perspective on accessibility covering broad aspects of development theory and disability studies, organisational design and performance, and design principles and approaches for assistive technology (AT). The course is offered to senior undergraduate and post-graduate students from any discipline.

Winter School on Accessibility and Inclusion

CAGS organised an online, 3-day winter school on accessibility and inclusion in progressive organizations of the global south. The event was organised from 7th-9th January, 2021, and had participants from a wide range of backgrounds, including students from engineering and liberal arts institutions, working professionals from the corporate as well as the social sector, researchers and policy-makers.
