Kartik Joshi is a Research Associate at CAGS, IIIT Bangalore. His research interests broadly span HCI, Social Computing and Accessibility.
Trained as an engineer with a B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering, Kartik pursued Masters by Research in Information Technology and Society at IIIT Bangalore, with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction. He takes a pragmatic approach to designing technology, considering the benefits and pitfalls of its adoption in society. With this vantage, his work uses qualitative and participatory research methods to derive insights for designing inclusive technology ecosystems. At CAGS, he is closely working with Vision Empower to establish the Accessible Resource Centre at the institute.
