Gayatri Raman is a gold medalist in M.Sc Digital Society programme from the batch 2020-22 at IIIT Bangalore. Her Master’s thesis was centred around Accessibility and Assistive Technology which investigated the impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on the education of children with visual impairment owing to the closure of physical schools. In addition to this, Gayatri was also an active volunteer at CAGS. Currently, Gayatri is a Doctoral student at the IUPUI Luddy School of Informatics and Computing in Human Computer Interaction. Her work is an extension of the work on accessibility and socio-cultural disabilities that she was exposed to in the Masters in Digital Society program (2022). Her interests include artistic expression by People with Disabilities and their use of social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube.
